A brief bio on each co-host:
Chris Eckard - I grew up in Mount Airy, MD and a freshman Journalism major at the University of Maryland. I have followed and played sports all my life, and could probably be considered a sports geek haha. I went to Linganore High School in Frederick, MD. My favorite teams are the following:
College - Maryland (of course) NFL - Indianapolis Colts NBA - Washington Wizards MLB - Baltimore Orioles NHL - Washington Capitals
I love watching pro and college football as well as college basketball. The pro basketball game is redundant, but playoffs are great. I have not really followed the NHL most of my life. Also.. I despise the Red Sox, Patriots, Cowboys, Celtics, Duke, and North Carolina.
Jason Murphy:
Hey--I'm Jason Murphy, freshmen Broadcast Journalism major at UMD. I love everything to do with sports and I follow most of the major sports. I am from Acton, MA which is about 40 minutes west of Boston therefore I love (most) Boston sports. I went to Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Acton,MA.
Favorite Teams as follows: College- UMD NFL- Dallas Cowboys NBA- Boston Celtics MLB- Boston Red Sox NHL- Boston Bruins MLS- New England Revolution EPL- Manchester United
My favorite sport to play is definitely soccer and have been playing for just about all my life. I also dabble in baseball, basketball, and various other sports. I love watching the NBA but dislike how untrue to the rules the game has become. Therefore, I much prefer watching college sports, especially basketball. I don't really hate any teams other than the obvious one, the Yankees. I really just love to banter, talk, and argue about sports.
